Journées Réseaux de l'Enseignement et de la Recherche – Education and Research networking days

Organised every two years since 1995 in a large French city, the JRES (Journées Réseaux de l’Enseignement et de la Recherche) consist in 4 days of conferences and of an exhibition dedicated to main ICT suppliers of our Education and Research community.

After the success of the JRES in 2013 in Montpellier, RENATER (the French National Research and Education Network – NREN) organises the 11th JRES again in Montpellier, from 8th to 11th December 2015 in the Corum, congress centre.

RENATER federates the French Education and Research community and creates synergies and a local dynamic: indeed RENATER collaborates with universities of Montpellier, the COMUR-LR, CIRAD and IRD for the organisation of this event.

Many other Education and Research organisation based in the Montpellier area do also participate in the organisation of JRES 2015, mainly the CNRS, the LIRMM, ENSCM, INSERM, IRSTEA, the Rectorat de l’Académie de Montpellier, ABES, Montpellier SupAgro, …

The JRES are under the patronage of the French ministry in for Education, Higher Education and Research.

1 600 ICT professionals are expected to gather in Montpellier for JRES 2015, to listen to a hundred of presentation during the conference and to meet industrial partners on the Exhibition part of the event.

European and other part of the world attendees are welcome as presentation given in the larger auditorium will be translated from French to English.
